Forward

Premise

This is my submission to the One Button 2023 Game Jam. The goal is to complete all levels while scoring as high as possible. The top ten highest scores submitted will be displayed on the leaderboard. 

Controls

Hold space or left-click to move forward.  Release to jump. Tripple click quickly to restart a level. 

Scoring

• +10 points per level completion
• +2 points per second faster than "average time"
  • Average time calculated via the intended route to earning the ruby for the level
• +25 points per ruby collected
• -1 point per death
  • Includes restarts

Leaderboard

This is my first experience using an online leaderboard.  I apologize for the crude nature of the leaderboard in advance. 

• Top ten all-time high scores displayed
• If scores are tied, the older score will supersede the newer one
• Inappropriate leaderboard names will result in immediate removal from the board regardless of the score earned
• Your total position based on all submissions will also be displayed

Known Issues / Bugs

• Crate collision (especially with other crates) sometimes fails or acts strangely
• Leaderboard placement (out of all submissions) can occasionally be one placement off
